a) I submitted to SpeakUp's High Priority Contest in December, whose victor would have his design published in New York magazine as support to an article that makes recommendations of "must-do's" for that week.

b) Klaus of Juicy Temples just wrote a really great article for HOW Magazine about the studio's history. A tell-it-like-it-is attitude and some amazing anecdotes make this article the real-good feel-good article of 4Q 2006!

c) Had a stellar time at AIGA Cincinnati's "Design Revival" which was held at a historic Shaker Village somewhere deep in Kentucky. Highlights included fireside chats with the fascinating Said Osio (of Tolleson Design), and Bourbon tasting with the legendary Woody Pirtle.

d) The Juicy Temples stationery was immortalized in the 2006 Self-promotion Annual of HOW Magazine.

Also in the same HOW Magazine, Landor colleague Jeff Domke wrote an article entitled "How to Land Your Dream Job" which is more than worth a look for those just entering the fray.

e) Before I left Orlando, I was interviewed for AIGA Orlando's Playmate section on their website where they grill a local design personality about what gets them out of bed in the morning (Article archived here).
